MEET THE TEAM

ANDREW CARSON,
MANAGING DIRECTOR

Andrew Carson, now with 40 years of experience is the current Managing Director of J.R. Labels. He is very much a hands-on manager and can just as often be found on the production floor operating one of the machines as in the office working on estimates and advising customers about their label requirements.

While not making labels Andrew's main hobby is motorcycling, both on and off road. Over the past number of years, he has completed several motorbike trips in the Himalayas, Cambodia and his most recent trips have brought him to Vietnam.

DAVID DUFFY,
PRODUCTION MANAGER

David is our Production Manager and has been with the company since 1995. David joined us aged 16 as a store man but very quickly progressed to trainee printer within the company, and for the past 26 years has gained extensive knowledge and expertise in the business. In his current position managing the production team, David strives to provide impeccable print quality and excellent customer service to all our customers.

In his spare time, he likes to keep fit. In recent years David has undertaken many runs in support of numerous children's charities.

STEPHEN HAMM,
SALES MANAGER

Stephen has been with JR Labels for over 20 years and has filled many and varied roles within the company over those years, gaining valuable experience in a wide range of departments. He now brings this experience to the role of Sales / Customer Service Manager which allows him to offer great advice to customers on their labelling applications and requirements.

Stephen’s main hobbies are music and Liverpool Football Club.

SAM CARSON,
MARKETING MANAGER

Sam began working in J.R. Labels on our slitting and rewinding machines during a week of work experience in Transition Year from school in 2016. On entering college to study Marketing, he has now taken over responsibility in that field and has since been appointed Marketing Manager undertaking various projects here, including the upgrade of our outdoor signage and the updating / development of our website. Sam is currently in his second year of college and will be spending four months later this year working and studying in Canada to gain further marketing skills to bring back to the company. We trust that his newly learnt skills and modern thinking will ensure a strong future for J.R. Labels, taking the company forward for the next generation.

Sam enjoys spending his spare time with off-road motorcycling, and he is also kept busy both playing and coaching Hockey in his local club.

ROBBIE CARSON,
OPERATIONS MANAGER

Robbie is the newest member of the J.R. Labels team, having just joined at the beginning of March 2021. Robbie has been appointed Operations Manager which entails overseeing both our warehouse and World Series Labels along with all other products. He also handles all incoming deliveries and customer collections. Robbie has also brought seven years of experience previously working in I.T. with him, which means he is very useful for managing our internal I.T. systems.

Robbie likes to spend his free time motorcycling, both on and off-road.

JANE CLARKE,
CUSTOMER SERVICE ADMINISTRATOR

Jane has over 25 years of experience within J.R. Labels, and openly admits to having enjoyed every single one of them. In her current role of Customer Service, she is the crucial point of contact between sales and the production department. She loves a challenge and says that this is what keeps the job both interesting and rewarding. “No two days are ever the same!” Throughout her years with J.R. Labels, Jane has held several roles starting as receptionist, then on to purchasing, and finally customer service & production planning so she has a very good knowledge of all aspects of the labelling business.

When not in work Jane enjoys socialising and going to concerts of all kinds.

KSENIJA RANCEVA,
ADMINISTRATION/RECEPTION

Ksenija is our front of house representative here in J.R. Labels. She is the first point of contact with our customers and suppliers as she handles all enquiries that come into the office through our phone lines and general email. Ksenija started working with us in 2018 and since then has become an invaluable member of our team.

In her spare time, she enjoys cooking.
